The house stands on an elevated position on the hill of Dapia behind Gialova, overlooking the Natura 2000-listed Gialova lagoon with 13th century Frankish castle, and Navarino Bay. To the side and back of the house there are excellent views of the mountains of Kiparissia, the Kalamaris waterfall, and the distant villages of Schinolakka and Pyla. Despite being only a 2km walk to Gialova beach, the house is in a secluded position and not overlooked.
This well-proportioned and designed house has fixtures and fittings of high quality. It is built on three levels that communicate via internal staircases.
The ground floor has a very large open plan area featuring a fully-equipped and kitchen with high specification (Neff, Bosch) fittings, a good range of fitted cupboards and a dining area with a table seating up to 8 people. Off the kitchen is a utility/laundry room with washing machine, large sink and more cupboards. The living room communicates with a study (or fourth bedroom) via folding double doors. There is also a WC and shower. There are terraces on all 4 sides of the property: the front terrace overlooking the sea is very large and is partly shaded by the upper balcony which creates a cool area for relaxing in the hot sun of the summer.
The upper floor consists of 3 bedrooms, two with magnificent sea views. The master bedroom has an en suite bathroom. There is also a large family bathroom with bath and shower. A spacious upper balcony, accessed from 2 of the bedrooms, has a pergola for vines and enjoys panoramic views of the Gialova lagoon and Divari (Golden) beach on Navarino Bay.
An internal staircase leads to a large basement/garage which also has external access via double garage doors. As well as providing impressive storage, including ample shelving, the basement accommodates the oil fired central heating boiler and 2 x 4500 litre water tanks, filled by pump from the Gialova reservoir.
The spacious swimming pool (12m X 5m) with skimmers is an in-ground, concrete construction in perfect condition, and has a large pool surround for loungers, also with a sea view.
An impressive mature garden surrounds the property on all sides and has well-established plants, fruit trees (orange, lemon, apricot, peach, mulberry, eating olive), flower beds, and decorative bushes. Olive trees create a peaceful ambience and shade for loungers. The rest of the 8387m2 plot consists of an olive grove with 120 trees. The size of the plot allows for an additional dwelling or house extension of up to 100 m2 to be built.
